Connect To Pros LLC does not provide the services listed on the platform and is not a party to any service agreement between users. The escrow system is designed to support secure transactions by ensuring that payments are held until the service seeker and provider confirms the completion of the agreed service.
2. Role of ConnectToPros.com
Connect To Pros LLC provides access to escrow functionality through the ConnectToPros.com platform. All escrow funds are processed, held, and released through a third party payment processor. Connect To Pros LLC never directly receives, stores, or controls user funds.
By using the escrow services, all platform users agree to the terms set out in this Escrow Services Policy, the ConnectToPros.com Terms and Conditions, and any terms presented by the third party payment processor.
3. Third Party Payment Processor
All payments, payouts, refunds, and escrow releases are handled exclusively through a third party payment processor. Users may be required to create an account with the payment processor, submit identity verification documents, and comply with any additional financial compliance requirements.
The payment processor is solely responsible for:
- Payment authentication
- Customer identity verification
- Secure holding of funds in escrow
- Distribution of funds to service providers
- Processing refunds when applicable
- Compliance with financial regulations
Connect To Pros LLC is not liable for processing delays, identity verification issues, declined payments, or technical errors originating from the payment processor.
4. Escrow Deposit
When a service seeker hires a service provider through ConnectToPros.com, the service seeker authorizes the full service amount to be placed in escrow. The payment will be held securely by the third party payment processor until released under this policy.
A deposit into escrow confirms the service seeker’s intent to proceed with the service. The service provider may begin work only after the escrow deposit is successfully confirmed.
5. Escrow Release Conditions
Payment is released to the service provider upon the occurrence of any of the following:
- The service seeker selects the “Release Payment” option after confirming the service is complete.
- The service seeker fails to respond to a release request within the time frame set by Connect To Pros LLC.
- A dispute is resolved in the provider’s favor through the dispute resolution process.
- Automatic release occurs after a platform specified period if the service seeker has not submitted a dispute or completion confirmation.
Once funds are released, the transaction is considered final.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
A service seeker may request cancellation before the service provider begins work. If approved, the funds will be refunded to the service seeker according to the payment processor’s policies.
Refunds may take several business days to process. Connect To Pros LLC does not control the speed of bank or card settlements.
If work has already begun or if the service has been partially completed, refund eligibility will depend on the outcome of the dispute resolution process described in Section 9.
7. Fees
Fees apply to the use of the ConnectToPros.com escrow system. These include but are not limited to:
- Connect To Pros LLC platform fees based on the amount of the transaction or service category.
- Third party payment processor fees including payment processing, escrow holding, and payout fees.
- Additional fees for chargebacks, disputes, or failed transactions when applicable.
Platform fees are disclosed at checkout before the escrow deposit is made. Fees charged by the payment processor are governed by the processor’s own terms and may change at any time.
All fees are non refundable except when prohibited by law.
8. Responsibilities of Service Seekers
Service seekers agree to:
- Deposit the full agreed amount into escrow before work begins
- Respond promptly to completion confirmations or release requests
- Communicate honestly with the service provider
- Submit disputes only in good faith
- Comply with identity verification and financial requirements set by the payment processor
Failure to respond to communication regarding payment release may result in automatic release of funds.
9. Responsibilities of Service Providers
Service providers agree to:
- Begin work only after the escrow deposit is verified
- Deliver services as described in their listing or custom agreement
- Communicate clearly with the service seeker about timelines and completion
- Provide evidence of service completion if requested during disputes
- Comply with payment processor requirements to receive payouts
Service providers acknowledge that failure to deliver the agreed service may result in refund decisions or dispute outcomes against them.
10. Dispute Resolution
If a service seeker believes a service was not delivered as agreed, they may file a dispute before the funds are released. Disputes must be submitted within the timeframe set by Connect To Pros LLC.
During a dispute, Connect To Pros LLC will review the information and may request additional evidence from both parties. Failure to provide evidence may result in a decision against the non responding party.
The final determination regarding release or refund of funds will be made by Connect To Pros LLC in its sole discretion. All decisions are final.
11. No Guarantee of Outcome
Connect To Pros LLC facilitates communication and resolution but does not guarantee:
- That a service provider will complete the service
- That a service seeker will accept completed work
- That the dispute process will satisfy all parties
Users agree that Connect To Pros LLC does not provide professional services, financial services, or legal services.
12. Limitation of Liability
Connect To Pros LLC is not responsible for:
- Losses caused by service providers
- Losses caused by service seekers
- Disputes involving quality of work
- Delays or errors caused by the third party payment processor
- Banking issues, chargebacks, or identity verification failures
Connect To Pros LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Amendments
Connect To Pros LLC may update this Escrow Services Policy at any time. Continued use of the escrow services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
